Hey guys and gals,,,, I tought it might be fun to start our own little comic-book-everything-goes-far-out-funny adventure about who else... CHERIE CURRIE!! now.. hopefully everyone will post their own two cents to the story....

SO IT BEGINS>>

One sunny typical Cali afternoon.....

Cherie "Chainsaw Chick" Currie was out on her playground working her magic with her chainsaw on a heavy yet gracefull log. As she sawed away the afternoon and the log began to take the form of a curious artifact that resembled a genie coming out of a little oil lamp. (yes... like the one on Aladdin)Cherie heard an unusual call. It was a rare sound not quite human, or like any animal she heard before. She turned off her saw and to her surprise the sound seemed to be coming from her newest wooden creation...

The sound was heavenly but boarder line siren similair to those found in greek mythology. As she approached taking gloves and eye gear off with each step, Cherie knelt down to here the voice say "??"..........

......."If you let me out I will grant you three wishes."
Cherie heard the words clearly and believed them instinctively. She began rubbing the lamp with her ungloved hand and after a few seconds a bright blue vapor began escaping from the lamp, gradually taking the exact form of the genie which she had carved, only ten times larger in size!
His arms were folded above his big belly as he joyfully thanked her for setting him free. "I've been trapped in that log for centuries, dear lady. My gratitude is boundless and your first wish is my command but be careful what you wish for lest the possibilities exceed your imagination."

Her first wish was was for seat and a cool drink, she was flabbergassed. Then as she sat down on the recliner having a snapple she quoted the great Homer Simpson "doeeeeeee".
She mistakenly wasted a wish...........
what's up for the rest????

Ohh nooo! she tought, i must be more carefull. UHmm what can i wish for, i have it all! Ohh how about a trip to the past... no even better a trip to the future???

As Cherie pondered, she heard someone calling her name...

Cherie Cherie!!! I have the people from Vh1 on the phone, they want to know if you would like to participate in bands reunited?

Great! she tought.. my wishes will have to wait then....... [img]graemlins/star.gif[/img]

Cherie took the call and assured the VH1 spokesperson that she was in, if the other gals were in! She was told that Sandy had already agreed and that Joan was leaning that direction. She was thanked profusely for her unselfish willingness and informed that they'd be getting back in touch with her, with a progress report, asap!
Cherie hung up the phone, took a big sip of her snapple and then began to contemplate her second wish.
The genie asked her if she wanted to wish for the reunion to happen but she declined, saying "it should only happen if we've all come together of our own free will."
"Then what will your second wish be" he inquired.
After a few moments of silence she looked up at him and said,
"I have decided to wish for............."

After much thought she looked deep and thought hey I am happy, great family, a labor of love with art, great Cali living. She wished for everyone to leave everything a little nicer than you found it or to quote the movie "pay it forward". She then went to the local nursery and purchased a bunch a saplings to plant. Then she went to the local Junior High and grabbed a bunch of students for quality mentoring time.....

On the six o'clock news it was being reported that something miraculous was happening world-wide!
"People from all walks of life, in every possible situation, are executing random acts of kindness in the name of brotherly love. Wars have ended. People are bringing food to the hungry, clothing to the needy, medicine is finding it's way through what, just yesterday, seemed an insurmountable red-tape blockade."
Little did they all know it was happening because of Cherie's second wish.
After mentoring those children all afternoon and seeing all the saplings planted throughout the city she decided to relax and watch the news. She was very happy with the monumental results her simple wish had brought to the world!
"You weren't kidding about the possibilities exceeding my imagination genie" she told him as he re-appeared.
He asked her what her third wish would be. "I'm not sure what else I could ask for" she quickly replied. "Let me sleep on it!"
The genie bowed repectfully and then disappeared into thin air.
Cherie thought to herself how perfect it all would be now.
She looked at herself in the mirror and asked "how could another wish be anything but greedy?"
After a good nights sleep the answer suddenly came to her!
She called out, "hey genie......I am ready to make my third wish!"

[gus danger]

As the genie appeared he spoke the words. "your wish is my commanmd."

Cherie said, "I know exactly what I want to wish for." She was, however, having a bit of trouble formulating the words and sort of muttered "I wish I could think of the best way to put this but....."
Suddenly she noticed the genie was bowing his head and was disappearing into thin air!
She realized what had happened immediately and started shouting, "no...wait!!!! That wasn't it! Come back!"
He was gone though..........

She sat down at the table and started shaking her head in disbelief.

Cherie never did get to make her REAL 3rd wish that day but the best way to put it had come to her like an ironical epiphany!

Luckily, there was still peace on earth!
